We are reanimating Living Dead Weekend, October 16-18, 2026 in THE MONROEVILLE MALL, and who would be more qualified to represent the history of this mall than Tom Savini. The Master of Horror, Tom Savini joins our DAWN OF THE DEAD reunion in the mall.
Tom was head of the special effects and makeup for DAWN as well as a stuntman in many scenes. Tom also played the very memorable role of the biker, Blades in the film.
Tom also designed and executed many of the outstanding special effects for “DAY OF THE DEAD”. Plus the blood curdling effects and characters in “CREEPSHOW”. Among many acting credits, Tom portrayed, Morgan in Romero’s “KNIGHTRIDERS”.
Tom also directed the 1990 Remake of George Romero’s “NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD”, and a few “TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE” episodes including “INSIDE THE CLOSET”.
With his practical FX skills and numerous film credits including “FRIDAY THE 13TH”, “THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE PART 2″, ” MANIAC” and “THE BURNING” to mention just a few, Tom is a legend in every category in the horror industry.
Tom will be there all 3 days October 16-18, 2026, participating in autograph sessions, photo-ops and meet and greets.
